What you'll do
- Support daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, payroll, and general ledger
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations and related accounting activities
- Monitor and contribute to analysis of accounting data and prepare financial reports and statements
- Contribute to improvements in systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
- Understanding of IFRS
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Accounting / Finance / related field

Requirements & Skills:
BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 3 years of proven experience in a relevant position, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Knowledge of IFRS is considered an asset.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
