Rontis Hellas S.A. , a multinational healthcare company, is looking for an Accountant based in Athens, Greece.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable,  cash receipts,  payroll,  and general ledger.

  • Assists with month-end and year-end closing processes,  including reconciliations  (bank, utilities, fixed assets, trust accounts)  and related accounting activities.

  • Monitors and contributes to the analysis of accounting data, contributing to the preparation of financial reports and statements for all operations, including warehouse and manufacturing.

  • Contributes to improvements in systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as needed.

  • Establishes and maintains fiscal files and records to document transactions.

  • Stays updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements & Skills:

  • BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in a relevant position, preferably in a manufacturing company.

  • Knowledge of IFRS is considered an asset.

  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.

  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
