About the job

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our clients and our IT capabilities. In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading the analysis of complex business needs, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment of business goals with technical solutions.

  • Lead workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather, analyze, and document high-level and detailed business requirements.

  • Translate business needs into comprehensive functional specification documents, ensuring clarity and completeness for development teams.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

  • Guide and support development teams by providing clear and actionable requirements, user stories, and workflows.

  • Provide strategic input during product development phases, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business scenarios and functional requirements.

  • Partner with the Support team to resolve post-implementation issues and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. 

  • The position involves analysis of business processes in the NPL industry in the Collections and Legal fields, transformation of business requirements into technical solutions, cooperation with business and technical departments, hence a degree that combines business/finance plus an understanding of systems/IT is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis, including hands-on experience with complex IT systems.

  • Proven track record of leading requirements analysis for large-scale or enterprise-level projects.

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence, SQL, Process Modelling tools is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desirable.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with others to determine acceptable solutions.
