About the job
As a Junior Project Manager you will take on Arrears Management projects to deliver every project on time, within budget, and within scope. You will also build positive long-term relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities
Manage technology projects and coordinate project teams, ensuring quality delivery of financial business solutions.
Manage the project team, establish, document, and agree on concise requirements to define the project scope and the expected deliverables.
Identify and manage the project stakeholders’ expectations dynamics.
Adhere to the Company’s Project Delivery Lifecycle Management process and adapt it to the project’s environment.
Proactively identify, assess, and control project threats and opportunities, drive prioritization, balance business needs versus constraints, and ensure adequate mitigation actions and contingency planning.
Identify and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, complying with the Company’s Change Management process.
Align stakeholders and influence decision processes, determine success metrics, and track against milestones.
Develop effective presentations and status reports to communicate project status to key stakeholders (Customer executives & Company C level).
Cooperate with Account Managers and Technical Division Supervisors on projects’ status and challenges.
Requirements
1+ years of experience in leading software application projects, preferably in the Banking or Finance sectors, as a Project Manager.
MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field are considered a plus.
PMP or Prince II certification is considered a plus.
Verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
Client-facing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines while being flexible and responding to change.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills.
Teamwork skills to coordinate virtual teams in a dynamically changing environment.
Working experience with Jira Software is considered a plus.
Knowledge of Loans Delinquency & Recovery processes is considered a plus.
Experience in Banking / Financial Services industries is considered a plus.
Ability to travel abroad (occasionally).
