What you'll do
- Support the operation of the powder coating process for metal objects
- Ensure operational procedures are followed and identify improvements related to safety, quality, and efficiency
- Provide daily coordination, direction, and guidance to Paintshop staff and support their training and development
- Monitor the chemical pre-treatment process and ensure correct handling of materials and solutions
- Oversee the preparation and replenishment of solutions according to established procedures
- Support capacity and resource planning and ensure effective allocation of personnel and materials
- Ensure work complies with quality, environmental, safety, and information security policies and procedures
- Maintain high work standards and ensure the Paintshop team meets operational standards
- Support the Paintshop Manager in daily management and improvement of operations
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Powder coating process and chemical pre-treatment process knowledge
- Leadership and people management skills
- Project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced English communication skills
- MS Office and ERP systems expertise
- Resource planning and material handling skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control
- Chemical Engineering / Materials Science / Mechanical Engineering / Related Technical Field
