Buyer (Supply Chain Management) in Drama, Greece
Scope:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team in Drama, Greece. The position involves procuring materials to support our manufacturing facility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of SAP and MRP systems.
- Experience in international business and contract management is beneficial.
- Understanding of ISO9001 Quality Management System.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good command of English (oral and written).
- Ability to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities:
- Source and qualify new vendors; assist in contract finalization.
- Support tenders and negotiations for materials, aiming for cost efficiency.
- Maintain vendor relationships and assist in managing the vendor portfolio.
- Coordinate with R&D, Sales, and Production on material requirements and product changes.
- Assist with Material Requirement Planning in SAP.
- Help plan and monitor inventory levels.
- Place and track purchase orders, ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Sales on material availability.
