What you'll do
- Monitor and triage alerts from SIEM, EDR/XDR, network, and cloud-security platforms
- Investigate events, validate incidents, and escalate based on severity and impact
- Document findings, actions, and evidence in tickets and incident records
- Support containment, eradication, and recovery activities
- Lead investigations, improve SOC procedures, and mentor analysts at higher levels
Key requirements
- Security monitoring, alert triage, and incident investigation
- SIEM platforms and endpoint security / EDR/XDR
- Windows and Linux event analysis, network protocols, and identity activity analysis
- Endpoint telemetry and cloud audit logs
- Incident response lifecycle, incident severity classification, and ticket and incident record handling
- Evidence preservation and detection content tuning
