What you'll do
- Own the stability, availability and operational performance of business-critical applications and platforms
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex production incidents across applications, integrations, databases, cloud services and infrastructure
- Investigate technical issues using logs, monitoring data, SQL queries, API tools and system diagnostics
- Coordinate root-cause analysis and drive permanent technical fixes
- Understand application architecture and dependencies across application, database, integration and infrastructure layers
- Troubleshoot API, authentication, connectivity and system-to-system integration issues
- Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, security and architecture teams
- Assess operational readiness, supportability and resilience before production releases
- Review monitoring coverage, alerting, dashboards and technical support procedures
- Identify automation opportunities through scripting, tooling and workflow improvements
- Contribute to infrastructure, cloud, identity, security and deployment discussions affecting production operations
- Lead and develop the Applications Technical Support team
- Manage major incidents and communicate technical impact, resolution paths and risks
- Monitor SLAs and operational KPIs as indicators of technical performance
Key requirements
- 7+ years' experience
- Technical operations management and production incident management
- Application architecture and application and enterprise integrations
- SQL and REST API troubleshooting
- Windows and Linux server environments, cloud platforms and networking fundamentals
- Monitoring and observability, root-cause analysis, and CI/CD and deployment processes
- Identity and access management, technical support team leadership, and operational readiness and resilience assessment
- Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Telecommunications Engineering / Relevant Technical Disciplinepreferred
