tax compliance senior professionals

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Senior Associate to join our Tax Compliance team in Athens.  You’ll work on high-impact projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and tackle real business challenges - all while learning, growing, and redefining what is possible. 

You will be member of the tax compliance team of PwC Greece, currently comprising of 22 accounting and tax professionals, covering the whole spectrum of tax compliance and tax digitalization services to clients.

Your job description:    

• Being member of the Tax Compliance team  

• Take responsibility for the delivery of tasks, as directed by project managers  

• Interact effectively with clients, to understand their needs and respond to queries in a timely manner

• Seeking opportunities to develop own expertise by taking on greater responsibility and/or more technically demanding tasks  

• Participate in accounting and tax advisory projects 

• Participate in electronic books (my DATA) and electronic delivery e-delivery) projects

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns (CIT, VAT, other)  

• Engage in tax reporting projects (Greek GAAP, IFRS)  

• Liaise with clients for various accounting & tax issues

• Bachelor's degree in economics, or Accounting & Finance, from a top-tier university 

• Master's degree in taxation or other Professional Qualification (ACCA) will be considered a strong asset  

• 3-5 years of previous accounting / tax compliance / bookkeeping / my DATA experience  

• Consulting firm experience in tax compliance, accounting and my DATA will be considered an asset  

• Strong verbal and writing skills both in English & in Greek  

• A confident and positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients at all levels 

• Enthusiastic attitude about learning on different industries and markets  

• Military services completed for male candidates
