In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Tax Compliance Associate/Senior Associate to join our Tax Compliance team in Athens.  

• Take responsibility for the delivery of tasks, as directed by project managers and more experienced members of the team    

• Interact effectively with clients, to understand their needs and respond to queries in a timely manner  

• Seek opportunities to develop own expertise by taking on greater responsibility and/or more technically demanding tasks    

• Participate in accounting and tax advisory projects   

• Participate in electronic books (my DATA) and electronic delivery e-delivery projects  

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns (CIT, VAT, other)    

• Engage in tax reporting projects (Greek GAAP, IFRS)    

• Liaise with clients for various accounting & tax issues  

What you bring matters  

• Bachelor's degree in economics, or Accounting & Finance, from a top-tier university   

• Master's degree in taxation or other Professional Qualification (ACCA) will be considered a strong asset    

• Relevant professional experience in accounting / tax compliance / bookkeeping / my DATA experience    

• Consulting firm experience in tax compliance, accounting and my DATA will be considered an asset    

• Advanced computer literacy, with proficient use of MS Office applications 

• Solid understanding of Greek Tax and/or Accounting Legislation 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English 

• A confident and positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients at all levels   

• Enthusiastic attitude about learning on different industries and markets    

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
