tax audit associate/senior associate

What you'll do
- Conduct tax audit procedures in line with PwC methodology and regulatory standards
- Prepare and issue accurate and compliant Tax Certificates for clients
- Review accounting records, financial statements, and tax filings to identify discrepancies or risks
- Perform analytical procedures to verify correct tax treatment of transactions
- Prepare working papers and documentation supporting audit conclusions
- Communicate with clients to clarify issues and provide updates
- Monitor changes in tax laws relevant to Tax Certificate processes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and quality engagement completion
- Assist in tax research and support ad hoc projects
- Supervise and mentor junior consultants (Senior Associate level)
Key requirements
- Knowledge of Greek tax legislation and Tax audit procedures
- Experience with Tax Certificate preparation and monitoring tax law changes
- Accounting records review and analytical procedures skills
- Proficiency in working papers preparation and client communication
- Familiarity with Greek Accounting Legislation and myDATA system knowledge
- Use of accounting software tools and MS Office
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Accounting & Finance / Business Administration
