Key requirements

  • 4+ years' experience
  • Climate risk assessments and scenario analysis skills
  • Sustainability reporting expertise including CSRD and ESRS compliance
  • GHG Protocol (Scopes 1, 2, 3) and ISO 14064/14067 knowledge
  • EU Taxonomy Regulation and TCFD framework understanding
  • Decarbonization program design and science-based targets initiatives (SBTi) experience
  • TNFD nature-related risk assessments capability
  • Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency
  • Stakeholder communication and report writing skills
  • Engineering / Environmental Science / Financepreferred

In this dynamic environment, we are searching for an Experienced Sustainability & Climate Change Professional (Senior Associate level) to join our team in Athens.  

Make a real impact  

  • Conduct climate risk assessments (covering both physical and transition risks) through scenario analysis aligned with global frameworks (e.g. TCFD) 

  • Support the preparation of sustainability-related disclosures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD) 

  • Support clients in aligning with EU Taxonomy Regulation, including eligibility and alignment assessments, and assist in related reporting obligations under CSRD  

  • Perform GHG inventory calculations in alignment with the GHG Protocol (Scopes 1, 2 and 3), as well as the international standards (ISO 14064 and ISO 14067), and conduct LCA modeling, applying robust methodologies and rigorous quality assurance 

  • Support clients in developing climate strategies, transition plans, and science-based targets in line with internationally recognised frameworks (e.g., SBTi, TCFD) 

  • Identify carbon footprint reduction opportunities and contribute to the design of carbon offsetting mechanisms, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and quality standards 

  • Support nature-related risk and opportunity assessments in line with TNFD, helping clients identify dependencies and impacts on biodiversity and ecosystems, and integrate findings into strategy and reporting 

  • Research and interpret climate policies and regulatory developments to inform and shape client strategies 

  • Leverage sustainability data platforms and digital tools (e.g., GIS platforms) to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of client deliverables 

  • Facilitate client workshops and training sessions on climate risk, decarbonization strategies, and sustainability reporting requirements 

  • Contribute to the development of proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership on climate trends, regulatory shifts, and industry best practices 

  • Oversee project monitoring and coordination, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality outputs, and effective stakeholder communication 

What you bring matters  

  • BSc or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance or related field 

  • At least four (4) years of client‑facing consulting experience in sustainability, with hands‑on delivery of projects across areas such as carbon accounting, decarbonisation plans, or climate risk analyses 

  • Strong understanding of global sustainability frameworks, standards and regulations (e.g., CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, TCFD, TNFD, SBTi, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064/14067). 

  • Proven expertise in climate risk assessments and climate resilience analyses, utilising climate models 

  • Hands-on experience with sustainability reporting and assurance readiness, including familiarity with audit and assurance requirements under CSRD/ESRS or equivalent standards. 

  • Hands-on experience with GHG Protocol (Scopes 1-3) calculations , including familiarity with assurance requirements 

  • Experience in decarbonization program design, scenario analysis, and audit-ready reporting (TCFD/CSRD/CDP) 

  • Familiarity with TNFD and nature-related risk assessments 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sustainability, energy, carbon footprint and operational data and translate findings into actionable recommendations 

  • Excellent report writing, verbal and presentation skills in Greek and English with ability to review others’ work to ensure quality 

  • Prior exposure to multi-disciplinary client engagements and project delivery in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving abilities 

  • Ability to manage projects, mentor junior team members, and deliver to high standards 

  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and a genuine passion for sustainability 

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
