What you'll do
- Ensure smooth operation of cash registers with speed, accuracy, and quality customer service
- Coordinate, guide, and support the cashier team, providing appropriate training and performance management
- Monitor daily cash reports, verify transactions, and manage cash register closing procedures
- Ensure correct implementation of policies and procedures related to transactions, security, and cash management
- Support the team in resolving customer issues or complaints at the registers
- Supervise safe and proper cash handling including deposits, returns, and reconciliations
- Use POS systems and retail technology tools effectively to track transactions and performance indicators
- Participate in inventory to ensure accuracy of cash register records
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the cashier area
