PeopleCert is looking for a Procurement General & Operations Associate to support the efficient day-to-day functioning of the Procurement Department. This role is responsible for executing procurement activities across a broad range of categories, ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods and services.
The position focuses on operational delivery, including supplier coordination, purchase order management, and process execution, while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. The successful candidate will also support continuous improvement initiatives, contribute to process optimization, and help embed digital tools and best practices into daily procurement operations, in alignment with the organization’s overall procurement framework.
As a Procurement General & Operations Associate, your tasks will include the following:
Support end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier selection, contract coordination, and supplier performance tracking, across a range of indirect procurement categories such as corporate vehicles, insurance, professional services (HR, Legal, Finance, Accounting), marketing and communication services, consultancy, office supplies, and general operational needs.
Assist in the execution of RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), ensuring clear requirements and effective supplier communication.
Support negotiations with suppliers on commercial and contractual terms, including pricing, payment terms, SLAs, and delivery timelines.
Contribute to identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements.
Support the implementation of procurement strategies and continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with team objectives.
Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Monitor supplier performance and assist in resolving operational issues.
Stay informed on market trends and emerging tools, including procurement automation and digital solutions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of services and goods.
Promote compliance, ethical sourcing practices, and vendor accountability.
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles (internships included).
Basic understanding of procurement processes and sourcing practices.
Exposure to RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) is a plus.
Familiarity with procurement systems or e-sourcing tools is considered an advantage.
Exceptional command of the English language (native-like fluency or C2 level certification preferred). Certifications such as LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL are a plus.
Familiarity with emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, and applications such as ChatGPT in procurement contexts.
Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
