cost reduction & cost control manager

What you'll do
- Manage the daily cost control cycle, including spend, renewals, price increases, utilisation, volumes and deviations.
- Maintain a forward-looking cost and renewal pipeline to challenge significant costs before commitments.
- Analyse contracts, suppliers, licences, services and operational spend to identify waste and inefficiencies.
- Work with stakeholders and Procurement to validate requirements and challenge scope, volumes and specifications.
- Define cost-reduction opportunities and targets through reduction, consolidation, redesign, renegotiation or alternatives.
- Manage the cost-reduction pipeline from opportunity identification through implementation and savings realization.
- Partner with Procurement on sourcing and negotiations while owning cost challenges and optimization recommendations.
- Work with Finance to establish baselines, validate savings and report results to senior leadership.
- Lead and develop the Cost Reduction Analyst and protect capacity for proactive analysis.
- Use data, technology, automation and AI tools to improve cost visibility and identify opportunities.
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Cost optimization, Cost control and Cost-driver analysis
- Spend analysis, Contract analysis and Pricing analysis
- Procurement, Contract negotiation and Savings realization
- Commercial finance and Data analysis
- Stakeholder management
- Power BI, Automation and AI tools and Advanced computer literacy
- Business Administration / Finance / Economics / Supply Chain Management / Any Fieldpreferred
