What you'll do
- Design and evolve scalable Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures on Microsoft Azure
- Architect solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks for enterprise data workloads
- Design ingestion and orchestration patterns with Microsoft Fabric Data Factory and Azure Data Factory
- Implement Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture patterns for governed enterprise data products
- Integrate data from CRM, ERP, digital platforms, APIs and enterprise systems
- Design analytical and semantic architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Databricks
- Enable secure, governed access to trusted enterprise data for self-service analytics
- Lead Master Data Management initiatives and establish governed master records
- Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end data architectures
- Establish standards for modelling, integration, data quality, metadata, lineage, security and lifecycle management
- Design architectures supporting AI and Machine Learning workloads
- Optimize platform performance, scalability, reliability and cloud cost efficiency
- Define and promote CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code and DataOps practices
- Recommend improvements across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and the Azure data ecosystem
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance and mentorship to Data & Analytics teams
- Maintain architecture documentation, standards, design patterns and technical decision records

- Microsoft Azure data ecosystem, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage
- Enterprise Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture
- ETL/ELT pipelines and Azure Data Factory / Fabric Data Factory
- SQL/T-SQL, data modelling and dimensional modelling
- Power BI, semantic modelling and DAX
- Data governance, metadata and lineage; Master Data Management
- Cloud security, access control, networking and FinOps
- Computer Science / Data Science / Engineering / Mathematics
