• Oversee end-to-end billing processes for Blue Chip Accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms and company policies

• Review and approve invoices, credits, and adjustments in the billing system

• Monitor aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and take proactive steps to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)

• Communicate with clients to resolve billing disputes and ensure prompt payment

• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Legal teams to clarify contract billing terms

• Maintain accurate customer account records in ERP and CRM systems • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting on billing and collections KPIs • Assist in process improvement initiatives and automation opportunities related to billing and collections

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards

• Train and mentor junior billing and collections staff as needed

The Player

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections

• Experience in a cross border billing environment preferred

• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Navision, Business Central, SAP, Oracle)

• Strong Excel skills; ability to manipulate data and use pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

• Familiarity with billing systems and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)

• Familiarity with credit management portals (e.g., D&B)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Customer-focused and able to handle difficult conversations professionally

• Knowledge of international billing and tax compliance (VAT, GST, etc.)

• Aging Monitoring and Improving Experience
