About the job

The Onassis Foundation is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Store Manager to lead its premium culture-led retail concept. 

The new culture-led retail initiative brings together premium multi-brand retail categories, evolving collaborations, and space for fashion to exist in proximity to cultural production, performance, discourse, and contemporary thought within a single, coherent environment. 

He/She will lead the operation and growth of retail concept, overseeing commercial performance, team development, strategic partnerships, and customer experience. 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Lead the commercial performance and day-to-day operations, ensuring the achievement of sales, revenue, and profitability targets

  • Monitor KPIs, analyze business performance, and implement initiatives that drive growth and operational excellence

  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control processes to support sustainable business performance

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner brands, designers, and external stakeholders, overseeing shop-in-shop collaborations and retail activations

  • Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team, fostering a customer-focused and collaborative culture

  • Ensure exceptional customer experience standards, visual merchandising, operational efficiency, and compliance with health and safety requirements

  • Support the planning and delivery of retail events, workshops, and customer experiences that strengthen the connection between retail concept, culture, and community 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field

  • 6–8 years of professional experience in luxury, fashion, lifestyle, premium retail, or a similar customer-centric environment, with proven experience leading retail operations and managing teams

  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence

  • Experience managing budgets, financial performance, KPIs, and business reporting, with the ability to develop strategic partnerships and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts

  • Excellent communication skills in both the English & the Greek Language

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP will be considered as an asset
