What you'll do
- Support preparation and continuous improvement of maintenance standards, SOPs, work instructions, inspection checklists, and templates
- Review maintenance-related documentation from contractors and suppliers for completeness, compliance, and alignment with technical standards
- Assist in preparation and consolidation of maintenance inputs to Aerodrome Manual and related documentation
- Maintain and update airport technical standards, SOPs, manuals, templates, and inspection regimes
- Establish and maintain warranty and DLP registers, including claim preparation, defect tracking, and contractor correspondence
- Support ORAT/readiness activities by maintaining documentation traceability and contractual obligation records
- Prepare and maintain structured documentation and evidence for audits, inspections, regulatory reviews, and management reporting
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Technical documentation and contract administration
- Asset management and CMMS usage
- Document control platforms and SharePoint/List-based trackers
- Warranty and DLP tracking and testing/commissioning records
- Inspection checklists, compliance registers, and audit evidence preparation
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English and Greek languages
- Engineering / Construction Management / Asset Management / Contract Law / Maintenance Engineering / Project Managementpreferred

International Airport of Heraklion, Crete S.A. is currently looking for a: Technical Standards & Contracts Engineer (Maintenance) Responsibilities
Supports preparation, review, version control, issue and continuous improvement of airport maintenance standards, SOPs, work instructions, inspection checklists, and templates across technical disciplines.
Reviews maintenance-related documentation received from Contractors and Suppliers for completeness, alignment with approved technical standards, and compliance with contractual and handover requirements.
Assists in preparation and consolidation of maintenance-related inputs to the Aerodrome Manual and documentation.
Supports ongoing maintenance, review, and controlled updating of airport technical standards, SOPs, manuals, templates, and inspection regimes.
Establishes and maintains warranty and DLP registers, including claim preparation, notices, technical correspondence, defect tracking, contractor responses, action status, and close-out evidence.
Assists ORAT/readiness activities by maintaining documentation traceability, defect/action registers, contractual obligation records, and evidence packs.
Prepares and maintains structured documentation and evidence audits, inspections, regulatory reviews and management reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or Construction / Technical Management with relevant technical documentation or contract-compliance experience
Postgraduate qualification in Asset Management, Contracts, Maintenance, or Project Management is considered an advantage
5–8 years of professional experience in technical documentation, maintenance support, contract administration, asset management, project handover, or technical compliance roles
Experience with O&M manuals, as-built documentation, warranties, DLP tracking, testing/commissioning records, handover documentation, or audit evidence is required
Experience in large infrastructure, airport, industrial, or safety-critical facilities is preferred
Experience with CMMS, document-control platforms, SharePoint/List-based trackers, or structured compliance registers is an advantage
Very good command of English and Greek language, both oral and written
