group ifrs reporting & consolidation accountant

GEK TERNA Group is looking for a:

Group IFRS Reporting & Consolidation Accountant

Role Responsibilities:

• Participates in the preparation of Group Annual Consolidated Statements, in terms of IFRS and Group policies 

• Assists in the production of periodic financial reporting (quarterly, half-year & annual results)

• Contributes to the preparation and audit of the annual financial statements of subsidiary companies

• Supports the Tax books conversion according to IFRS

• Participates in the preparation of the reporting packages

• Supports the continues optimization of Reporting & Consolidation systems and the development of associated processes

• Liaises with the external auditors

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc degree in Finance or Accounting

• 3-5 years relevant experience in IFRS (Accounting and Consolidation)

• Knowledge and very good understanding of Greek GAAP and IFRS

• Preparation of standalone Financial Statements under IFRS

• Working experience in SAP ERP/FI reports

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English

Requirements that will be appreciated:

• ACCA Qualification or IFRS diploma

• SAP BPC/Hyperion/SAP DM/ IFRS 16 – Real Estate Program 

• Excellent working capacity in excel formulas – experience with macros
