TERNA S.A., member of GEK TERNA Group seeks to hire a: 

Contracts Manager for Microsoft Data Center

 Main responsibilities: 

• Executes proper contracts appreciation, ensures adherence to contractual conditions and recommends contract modifications or changes of orders, when required

• Manages task authorization and construction contract requirements by meeting project managers 

• Makes all the revisions available to all the parties involved in the project

• Inspects project sites to monitor progress and ensures conformance to design and construction specifications 

• Proactively communicates with key project stakeholders for adherence to project design, scope, and schedule

• Interprets contract requirements to recommend alternative solutions to difficult and complex construction schedule issues

• Assists project staff with the prevention, management, and defense of claims including the management of issues with potential claims

• Supervises periodic monitoring of, and feedback on, the management of projects and the administration of construction contracts

• Drafts contractual letters to get them approved by Project Manager and hands them to Client, Subcontractors, Government bodies etc.

• Identifies risks, provides detailed analysis of Risk at different levels of Project Cycle (Project Planning and Procurement, Execution and Monitoring, Project Closure and Claims stage, Project Operation etc.) and develops risk mitigation plans

• Ensures identification, documentation and submission of claims & variations  

Qualifications: 

• BSc Degree in Civil /Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 

• 10 years of experience in Contracts Management of Complex Construction Projects 

• Practical experience in contract administration for construction projects, including negotiations and settlements of complex claims

• Excellent technical writing and strong verbal communication both in English and Greek

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
