What you'll do
- Define specifications and design firmware solutions based on project requirements
- Conduct or supervise feasibility studies
- Communicate concepts and guidelines to the development team
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and test engineers
- Contribute to schematic design and manage PCB layout
- Contribute to firmware architecture, development, engineering tests, and product validation
- Supervise firmware and hardware code design, implementation, testing, and documentation
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- C and C++ coding, embedded firmware development, and microcontroller programming
- Embedded architecture, Cortex-M processors, and FreeRTOS
- Linux system and kernel development
- Electronics engineering, schematic design, and hardware requirements analysis
- End-to-end product development lifecycle and serial communication protocols
- Git, Jira, and UML and modeling methods
- Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Applied Computer Science
