About the job
As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer you will be part of our growing R&D team and contribute to the development of addressable panels on emergency lighting and fire alarm systems. You will work in a dynamic environment where your day to day will involve working as a team on world-class products.
Your key responsibilities include
- Reading and understanding theoretical, electrical and electronic schematic designs
- Developing software using C language
- Performing functional tests
- EMC performance testing
What you bring to the team:
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Applied Computer Science or related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of proven industry experience in the field of electronics
- Minimum 2 years of experience developing embedded firmware using C coding language
- Good knowledge of electronic circuits lab measuring instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Proven skills in performing functional tests
- Experience with 32-bit processors, preferably Cortex-M
- Excellent team working skills is a must, both internally within the R&D department as well as across departments
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of EMC performance testing
- Knowledge of RTOS principles
- Familiarity with PCB design guidelines
