What you'll do
- Greet customers and present menus, taking accurate food and drink orders, confirming dietary needs or allergies
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, ensuring correct presentation and timing for multiple dishes
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to expedite orders and resolve service issues with clear communication during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting up, cleaning, and resetting tables according to hygiene standards
- Manage customer payments, accurately processing transactions and handling queries discreetly
- Monitor customer satisfaction throughout service and respond to requests or complaints promptly
- Follow food handling practices, kitchen equipment safety, and hygiene regulations to comply with health and safety requirements
