What you'll do
- Respond to operational demands to support safe and efficient power generation in line with plant authorizations.
- Carry out hands-on duties in the plant control room and field, including tracking and comparing operating parameters.
- Suggest improvements to plant and operating methods.
- Follow and promote company HSE standards and ISO requirements.
- Support permit issuance and supervise compliance with plant policies and procedures, including isolation-list tasks.
- Work with external interface organizations while maintaining commercial confidentiality and auditable records.
- Update and record the plant’s commercial capabilities and current station parameters.
- Execute sampling and chemical analysis activities, including the HRSG chemical analysis process.
- Perform first-line maintenance during emergencies.
- Monitor and control the Distributed Control System, including production schedules, equipment status, warnings and alarms.
Key requirements
- Power plant operations and plant control room operations
- Distributed Control System monitoring and control, production scheduling, and equipment status monitoring
- Operational parameter monitoring and plant operating methods improvement
- Health, Safety and Environmental standards, ISO requirements compliance, and permit and isolation procedures
- Chemical analysis and first-line maintenance
- Advanced computer skills, written and spoken English, and commercial confidentiality and auditable records
- Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Automation Engineering / Naval Engineering / Any Field
