The Stores Design & Development Team Leader implements the retail brand manuals and update OS designs, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations while supporting all designs and permits required for OPAP HQ and owned properties.

Your day to day will include:
•    Developing OS layouts, including architectural design, construction licensing, and optimal product/equipment placement, ensuring alignment with OPAP brand guidelines, operational needs, and retail trends to enhance customer experience and sales
•    Coordinating with Retail, Engagement, Legal teams, and external partners to finalize design elements that are feasible, on-brand, and tailored to market needs
•    Reviewing design requests for new openings or structural changes and assigning work to engineers, ensuring adjustments follow design manuals
•    Engaging with construction teams, suppliers, and authorities to ensure smooth execution, overseeing timelines, budgets, and quality standards
•    Contributing to the creation and update of OS design manuals covering electromechanical and architectural aspects
•    Monitoring placement of equipment, gaming machines, and furniture according to store standards
•    Managing the end-to-end design process, including studies, documentation, licensing, and construction packages for new OS and renovations
•    Updating OS designs per latest manuals and brand standards, proposing improvements based on feedback and lessons learned
•    Supporting partner selection and negotiations, providing guidance for OS design preparation
•    Supervising team members, offering support and coaching for skill development and goal achievement

What you need to succeed: 

•    Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Architecture Engineering. Master’s degree considered a plus
•    Over 6 years of experience in architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) design
•    Very good knowledge of the design principles and methods
•    Hands-on experience in using design applications and software (e.g. 3D, CAD/CAM etc.)
•    Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding multifunctional team
•    Structured and analytical mindset, with a results-driven and self-motivated approach
•    Flexible, proactive, and able to prioritize effectively under tight deadlines
•    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
•    Proficient in MS Office
•    Strong command of English
