About the job

The Service Delivery Specialist role is a key contributor to the successful implementation and support of IT projects within the domain of corporate applications, including financial systems, retail, legal services, warehouse management, HRMS and ITSM platforms. It focuses on coordinating technology initiatives that involve technical analysis, solution design, implementation, testing and ongoing support, while applying best practices and project methodologies.

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Working on projects of varying priorities in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, while tracking and reporting progress.

  • Conducting impact analysis, market research, identifying best practices and evaluating software solutions to propose the most suitable option.

  • Managing the software development lifecycle from planning to implementation and service operations.

  • Translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications and designing the required technical solutions and integrations.

  • Overseeing outsourced resources, vendor contracts and software licensing, and monitoring project execution and change requests in line with business needs and internal processes.

  • Providing maintenance and support services according to SLAs, including incident and problem management.


What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related STEM field. A Master’s degree or MBA is considered a plus.

  • At least 2 years of experience in business or functional analysis for large-scale technology projects, along with technical involvement in the development or maintenance of back-office applications (e.g. financial, retail, legal, warehouse management systems, HRMS, ITSM). Experience in solution design is a strong asset.

  • Solid understanding of ERP, logistics and inventory software, testing best practices, and data integration technologies (Web Services, JSON, XML, SOAP). General knowledge of operating systems, networking and SQL/database management is considered a plus.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Redmine), and collaboration platforms (MS SharePoint, MS Teams). Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA) are an advantage.

  • Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities in both Greek and English, across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented and a genuine team player with a results-driven mindset.
