About the job
As a Retail Analytics Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic direction of Allwyns’s retail network. You’ll contribute to the definition of business objectives, commercial KPIs, and budget planning, while monitoring performance and delivering insightful reports. Additionally, you’ll provide comprehensive analytics and reporting across the entire retail ecosystem, supporting stakeholders at all levels, from agents and Marketing Units to Area Managers, Sales teams, and top management.
What your day to day will include:
Monitoring retail network KPIs (Allwyn stores, Play Stores, indirect channels) and developing Power BI reports (annual, quarterly, monthly, ad-hoc) with detailed performance analysis by region, store, and product.
Conducting post-investment appraisal of retail initiatives, evaluating store uplift based on solid methodologies.
Ensuring accuracy and stability of reporting tools, combining technical expertise with business understanding.
Collaborating with the AI team on root cause analysis and predictive modeling and expanding reporting automation using AI capabilities.
Expanding automation in reporting utilizing AI features
Aligning with BI team to optimize data infrastructure that supports the team's reporting needs.
Providing clear & meaningful KPI specs, efficient database preparation & ensuring optimized Power BI reports
What you’ll bring:
Bsc in Management Science & Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or relevant field, Master's degree will be considered an asset
Hands-on experience in data mining and analysis of big data in large-scale data environments
Excellent knowledge of SQL and ETL/ELT processes
Good knowledge of programming languages, statistical models and analytics tools (Python, R, Databricks, SAS)
Solid experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Advanced MS Excel knowledge
Familiarity with ML/AI applications in retail or behavioural analytics
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; ability to translate findings into real-world recommendations
Excellent communication skills in English & Greek
Good Knowledge of the gaming industry will be considered an asset
