About the job
As an Online Payments Associate you will manage and monitor payment transactions across various channels, ensuring accuracy and resolving disputes. You will implement and improve fraud detection processes, collaborate with teams to enhance payment systems, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Your day to day will include:
• Executing and monitoring payment transactions across various channels (e.g., credit/debit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers).
• Ensuring transaction data accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
• Handling payment disputes and chargebacks with excellent customer service.
• Maintaining detailed transaction records and reconciling discrepancies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve payment processes.
• Implementing and improving fraud and payment management processes.
• Identifying and facilitating system and process improvements for the proactive identification of high risk or fraudulent activities in online channels.
• Monitoring online activities and player behavior to identify suspicious transactions.
• Evaluating and quantifying risk from online account activity reports.
• Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
What you need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, IT or relevant field
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Strong knowledge of payments processing and online transactions
• An understanding of legislation and regulations in fraud and risk mitigation
• Strong critical thinking & analytical skills, with ability to quickly evaluate situations in real time and a good eye for detail
• Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel & PowerBI
• Experience of bonus abuse patterns and KYC in the betting industry
• Betting knowledge will be considered an asset
• Availability to work in shifts
• Good knowledge of English
