About the job
As a Lawyer you will be providing legal advice and consultation for the business operations of the assigned area of responsibility and handling the execution of legal actions for the avoidance of potential legal risks and the protection of OPAP Group interests.
Your day to day will include:
Representing OPAP Group in litigation and international arbitration proceedings.
Handling a broad range of disputes—including civil, criminal, labor, and IP matters—with growing autonomy and responsibility.
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, pleadings, legal opinions and internal memos.
Providing legal input to business units, contributing to risk identification and mitigation efforts.
Conducting in-depth legal research and case law analysis to support litigation planning and internal advisory work.
Monitoring legislative and case law developments relevant to the Group’s operations and providing timely updates to the legal team and interested stakeholders.
Participating in internal legal initiatives and contributing to the continuous improvement of litigation processes.
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) and Master’s degree (LLM) in Private, Civil or Labor Law
3-5 years of respective experience as a lawyer within a large organization or a prominent law firm
Proven court experience
Solid legal research & drafting skills
Familiarity with legal technology tools & platforms
Strong communication, negotiation & influencing skills
Creative problem solving – ability to handle complex legal issues
Excellent knowledge of English & Greek
