Your day to day will include:
Managing and providing subject matter expertise on the operation of HGC’s Control System(s) for all gaming platforms and BI reports
Liaising with gaming regulatory authorities ensuring fluent communication regarding technical compliance issues and acting as point of technical contact for auditing authorities’ requests
Ensuring smooth access of gaming regulator to OPAP’s regulatory reporting systems, providing user support and managing relevant issues
Inspecting and evaluating systems and applications lifecycle as per their compliance to the regulatory framework, identifying areas of risk and suggesting actions for their mitigation
Translating applicable regulatory requirements to technical specifications for all products and operations of OPAP, evaluating compensating solutions
Working closely with vendors and internal teams for the accurate communication and implementation of the necessary technical specifications to meet the regulatory framework
What you need to succeed:
BSc in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
3+ years of relevant experience in Information Security, IT architecture, IT Business Analysis, IT Audit or similar role, preferably in a regulated industry
Eager to gain a deep understanding of OPAP’s games and the relevant data that gaming solutions provide to act effectively as a subject matter expert for regulatory reporting systems
Very good understanding of modern IT systems, infrastructure and applications
Good understanding of databases and basic SQL queries/functions, hands-on experience will be highly preferable
Strong analytical and organizational skills, combined with advanced project management expertise
Business-driven and results-oriented, able to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) both in Greek and English languages
