As a Financial Controller, you’ll be an integral part of TORA’s Financial Team, working closely with the Finance Manager to organize and manage financial data. You’ll drive the execution of strategies that keep the finance team operating efficiently. Ready to play a key role in shaping the financial operations that support our everyday business success?

Your day to day will include:

• Supporting the establishment of processes and standards for the finance department to ensure smooth and compliant operations
• Managing the entire expenses approval process and ensuring timely posting of invoices in the ERP system (S4HANA)
• Acting as a reconciliation officer, ensuring accurate payment transfers to beneficiaries according to Bank of Greece regulations
• Scheduling daily vendor invoice payments and ensuring they are made on time
• Monitoring and maintaining company cash flow reports
• Assisting in monitoring major expenses, analyzing variances, and communicating insights
• Collaborating with the reporting team and participating in monthly financial reporting
• Participating in contract monitoring and supporting budget tracking and expense reporting

What you need to succeed: 

• BSc in Accounting or Finance. MSc in Finance will be considered as an asset
• 6+ years of experience in the financial sector preferably in an accounting or finance senior position
• Knowledge of finance and accounting best practices
• Strong analytical skills 
• Sharp critical thinking
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and under strict deadlines
• Team player with strong collaboration skills
• Working experience related to ERP software S4HANA will be considered as an asset
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel 
• Excellent communication skills both in English and Greek languages (written and oral)
