About the job
Your day to day will include:
• Managing the on time and on budget delivery of OPAP’s mobile projects, in the areas of gaming, CSR and Loyalty, for Retail & Online customers
• Clarifying and transforming business needs into functional and technical specifications, ensuring clear project objectives and deliverables
• Acting as a liaison between business owners, analysts, and development teams, to ensure alignment and resolve discrepancies
• Managing project timelines, scope, and quality, while leveraging technical expertise for successful app releases
• Building and maintaining trustful relationship with vendors
• Utilizing best practices such as Agile and scrum principles, to manage product backlogs, prioritize tasks, and foster collaboration for efficient development that improve the company’s digital presence
• Monitoring application release processes and product lifecycles to identify risks and areas for improvement
What you need to succeed:
• BSc in Computer Science, Technology/ Engineering, Digital Business, or related field. MSc degree in relevant topic is desirable
• At least 3 years of experience in digital and software product development, especially around mobile applications, in a digital savvy or product-driven company
• Experience in software development lifecycle using Agile & scrum principles and tools such as JIRA
• Ability to understand all layers of a product (business, application, infrastructure and network)
• A proactive approach to work closely with all business leads, to monitor and react to market trends
• Ability to work closely with UX designers, Software architects and engineers, copywriters and systems & network engineers
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Technical aptitude and “hands-on” mentality, very good presentation, communication skills
• Experience in the gaming/betting industry and/or with Loyalty programs, will be considered an asset
