About the job
As a Business Development Senior Specialist, you will ensure the efficient operation of the sales networks, focusing on maximizing both sales and unit profitability. You will analyze sales performance, generate actionable insights, and provide strategic recommendations to drive growth in revenue and profit.
Your day to day will include:
• Proposing targets for the Impulse Marketing Unit to boost GGR and profitability; recommending product and channel splits based on data analysis
• Recommending and monitoring routing plans for the Small Retail sales team to enhance efficiency
• Developing performance reports across channels, identifying key drivers and suggesting improvements
• Preparing and presenting performance updates, roadmaps, and action plans to management as needed
• Coordinating with Finance to evaluate commercial actions and managing the Impulse P&L with the Director
• Supporting field sales policy and SLA development, ensuring compliance across all sales activities
• Designing and executing strategic plans to grow the customer base and revenue, evaluating channel performance
• Leading partner negotiations and fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships
• Identifying new business, product and channel opportunities and leading business case evaluations
• Managing team development through ongoing support and performance feedback
• Acting as the main liaison with the OPAP Sales team to align on priorities and roadmaps
What you need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or relevant field; MSc or MBA will be considered an asset
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial finance, Business Development or Sales transformation in a large retail network
• Experience in developing business plans and recommendations
• Experience in Go-to-market / Route-to-market planning and assessment
• Strong background in P&L management and monitoring
• Customer focus & results orientation
• Analytical & strategic thinking
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Greek and English
• Expertise in Reporting Tools / ERP
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
