As an Accountant at Opap, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations! Your mission? To accurately register all financial transactions, contracts, and invoices into the general ledger, reconcile accounts and payments, and align gaming platform data — all while maintaining full compliance with accounting regulations and standards!

Your day to day will include:

• Handling the accurate registration and calculation of all financial transactions and fixed assets, including supplier invoices, payments to the general ledger and ERP/SAP S4 HANA

• Issuing or collecting invoices according to business requirements (sold assets, services, games committees, rent compensation of VLT'S), assessing their compliance with processes and contracts, registers to the general ledger and submits them for payment

• Preparing and maintaining the forecast spreadsheet regarding the payment projections across all companies of OPAP

• Calculating the VAT for the activities across OPAP and registers to the general ledger and ERP all accounting activities, financial transactions and fixed assets according to the local GAAP

• Proceeding to the accurate and timely reconciliation of various accounts, e.g. company's ERP, financial transactions, receivable / payable

• Supporting the development of standardized and ad-hoc consolidated and stand-alone accounting reports

• Handling the archiving of all transactions reinforcing financial data availability and safety

What you need to succeed:

• BSc in Accounting, Business Administration or related Finance field

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Financial & Operations Management

• High numeracy and sound reporting skills

• Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERPs

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• High level of accuracy, good attention to detail, methodical approach

• Advanced computer literacy with proficient skills Microsoft Office User, especially excel

• Excellent command of the English language (oral and written)
