Curious how experts uncover suspicious betting activity before it affects the game? Join us as an AML/CTF Specialist to conduct investigations and checks that efficiently identify and monitor unusual betting behaviors and transactions — while ensuring accurate validation of winning certification applications!

Your day to day will include:

• Submitting Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to HFIU regarding suspicious betting behavior of players and agents

• Monitoring Retail Network operations for AML indicators and reporting suspicious findings to Compliance for further action (e.g., letters, fines)

• Conducting AML checks on current and potential agents and partners; approving or rejecting applications and informing the Sales team

• Carrying out AML investigations based on management or regulatory requests and providing detailed reports

• Performing AML checks on online and retail customers for unusual behavior and reporting for further action, such as payment approval or rejection

• Evaluating and categorizing agents as eligible or non-eligible based on suspicious findings following guidelines

• Conducting AML checks on written-off, stolen, or high-value winning slips and recommending payment approval or rejection

• Performing AML checks related to negative publicity cases

• Monitoring and assessing suspicious betting activities involving game manipulation, money laundering, or terrorism financing; notifying relevant departments for action

• Investigating alerts generated automatically by the company’s AML/CTF platform

• Executing AML checks for winning certification applications according to laws and regulations

• Identifying potential improvements to AML systems, typologies, and processes to enhance regulatory compliance

• Responding to ad-hoc assignments related to AML/CTF activities based on business needs and personal skills

What you need to succeed: 

• BSc in Finance, Business, or relevant field

• 2+ years of relevant experience in AML / CTF operations in large complex organisations

• Understanding of relevant regulation schemes and policies

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking

• Teamwork and cooperation

• High level of integrity discretion

• Strong communication and presentation skills both in English and Greek languages (written and oral)

• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly in MS Excel
