Key requirements

- Electrical maintenance of medium & low voltage distribution, transformers, switchgears, motors, drives, and automation systems
- Troubleshooting electrical and automation faults
- Health, Safety and Environmental standards compliance, including electrical safety standards
- ISO standards compliance and quality documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Apps, and maintenance management tools such as SAP PM
- Experience with CAD software like AutoCAD

HERACLES Group, Greece’s leading company in the field of building materials and a member of Holcim, is seeking to cover the position of Electrical Engineer to join LAFARGE BETON, one of the fastest growing and most dynamic companies in the aggregates and concrete sector.
The Electrical Engineer will be based at the Quarry site in Mandra.
Role & Key Accountabilities
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for coordinating the maintenance, reliability and performance of the quarry’s electrical installations, distribution networks and automation systems, ensuring maximum equipment availability, operational efficiency and strict compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
Electrical Maintenance & Reliability: Coordinate and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all electrical equipment, including medium & low voltage distribution systems, transformers, switchgears, motors, drives and automation systems. Active involvement to electrical projects related to revamping, performance and digitalization
Operational & Production Support: Provide immediate technical support to production teams, troubleshoot electrical/automation faults and ensure the prompt resolution of failures to minimize downtime
Health & Safety: Maintain a zero-harm environment by ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies, electrical safety standards and company procedures
Automation & Continuous Improvement: Monitor and optimize PLC systems and quarry automations. Identify opportunities for process improvement, energy efficiency and modernizing electrical infrastructure
Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO standards, Health & Safety requirements, company procedures and maintenance documentation, contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: University Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in quarries, cement plants, ready-mix concrete, mining or heavy process industries
Languages: Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Digital Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps. Experience with maintenance management tools (such as SAP PM) and CAD software (AutoCAD) will be highly appreciated.
Soft Skills: A proactive, self-driven professional with a results-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to Safety
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster team spirit.
