About your future role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Demand Manager to lead our IT Demand office. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee IT project delivery, optimize capacity planning across teams, and streamline the intake process for both commercial and internal demand into IT development teams. You’ll have a direct impact on ensuring resources are aligned with strategic goals, projects are delivered efficiently, and business priorities are effectively managed.

This hybrid role combines remote flexibility with on-site collaboration at our Greece office. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our project management and demand-handling processes.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Lead the PMO: Define and execute the strategic direction of the PMO, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
  • Capacity Planning: Oversee the overall capacity planning of IT development teams, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated to meet current and future demands.
  • Demand Management: Establish and manage a robust framework for intake and prioritization of commercial and internal demand into IT development teams, balancing stakeholder needs and strategic goals.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure successful delivery of IT-driven projects within scope, budget, and time constraints while adhering to PMO processes and standards.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team of project managers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, business units, and senior stakeholders to align priorities and ensure effective communication.
  • Governance and Best Practices: Implement and enforce governance frameworks, project methodologies, and industry best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate organizational and project-level risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements within the PMO and across the organization, ensuring adaptability to evolving business needs.

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

  • Extensive experience in IT Project and Program Management, including a track record of delivering complex, enterprise-level projects.
  • Strong expertise in capacity planning and resource management to ensure optimal team performance and resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to manage and streamline demand intake processes, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT capacity.
  • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and manage high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with executive leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect IT initiatives with broader organizational objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Project management certifications (PMP, PgMP, Agile certifications) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English.

  • Experience in the payments industry or familiarity with payment technologies such as mobile payments, digital wallets, and contactless systems.
  • Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and drive organizational change.

  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar project budgets and vendor relationships.
