About the job
We are hiring a Channel Management & Strategy Expert to design, refine, and optimize how Nexi Greece sells across direct, indirect, and digital acquisition routes.
This is a senior strategy and design role; you will not manage day-to-day sales teams, but you will shape the entire channel architecture to ensure we grow profitably, efficiently, and in line with merchant needs.
You will be the internal architect of our commercial engine, working closely with stakeholders from Sales & Alternative Channels Management, Product & Marketing, Pricing & CVM teams while also connecting with peers in other Nexi Group countries to share and adopt best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Strategy & Design
Design Nexi’s channel mix across direct sales, alternative partners, retail branches, and digital channels
Define the role, target segments, and KPIs for each route to market
Build scalable go-to-market models tailored to merchant needs and channel economics
Prioritize and roadmap new channel opportunities (e.g., digital onboarding, referral ecosystems)
2. Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with:
Head of Product & Marketing to align go-to-market by product type
Head of Pricing & CVM to calibrate incentives and margin performance by channel
Alternative Channels Manager to scale or refine partner programs
Sales Leads to test, validate, and implement channel improvements
Influence senior stakeholders with data and commercial logic
3. Channel Performance Optimization
Analyze channel-level performance (conversion, churn, ARPU, cost-to-serve)
Identify cannibalization, overlap, or gaps in merchant acquisition
Recommend tactical and strategic actions to improve channel effectiveness
4. Execution Support & Enablement
Collaborate with sales enablement teams to roll out channel playbooks, lead routing models, training tools
Support pilots or launches of new channel types with business cases and frameworks
Monitor pilot results and refine implementation
Profile
Experience
8+ years in channel management, go-to-market strategy, or commercial design
Proven experience in multi-channel sales ecosystems (payments, telco, SaaS, fintech, banking, or retail)
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills; can build a P&L model or evaluate ROI scenarios
Experience working across matrixed organizations or pan-European environments is a plus
Skills & Mindset
Strategic thinker with operational sensibility; can zoom out and dive in
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority
Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and driving structured growth
Fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken)
