About your future role

You will be working at our Kryoneri premises as an Application Developer within the Core Issuing Development team. Your initial focus will be on the OPTIMUS project, a significant migration and transformation initiative for one of the largest banking institutions in the country.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Design, code, test, and debug applications to ensure they meet business requirements and are scalable.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
• Participate in Code Reviews: Review code written by peers to ensure it adheres to best practices and standards.
• Optimize Performance: Identify and implement improvements to enhance application performance and user experience.
• Document Technical Specifications: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Diagnose and fix bugs or issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Angular, ProC, APIs, Jasper Reports, and Java Spring Boot technologies.
