What you'll do
- Teach undergraduate courses in Biomedical Sciences fields including Biology, Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, and Clinical Trials
- Design and develop course materials for onsite and online teaching
- Use IT tools to facilitate both onsite and online teaching
- Communicate effectively with students and colleagues
- Manage time and workload efficiently
- Collaborate with team members in academic activities
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in relevant Biomedical Sciences fields
- Fluency in English
- Experience teaching undergraduate or postgraduate courses
- Course design and use of IT for onsite and online teaching
- Effective communication and time/workload management skills
- Teamworking skills
- Permit to work in Greece and valid Record of College Tutors number

Essential criteria of applicants:
A Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in a related field
Proven fluency in English
2-year (3-year) teaching experience for UG (PG) level
Experience of course design and use of IT for onsite and online teaching
Effective communication and time/workload management skills
Teamworking skills
Permit to work in Greece (if applicable)
Valid number of Record of College Tutors (“Mitroo Didaskonton Kollegion”) by the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs (info can be found here: https://www.minedu.gov.gr/sxetika-me-ta-kollegia?id=43269)
Desirable criteria of applicants:
A PhD (or near completion) or extended professional experience in a related field (essential for PG level)
Supervision of student thesis (essential for PG level)
More than 2-year teaching experience (essential for PG level)
Active research portfolio or demonstrated ability and willingness to build one
Active professional and/ or academic network
