By setting strategic goals, aligning teams, and managing resources effectively, the Vet Channel Manager ensures sustainable growth and profitability. This position is about inspiring and leading a collective effort to make a significant impact on the vet channel, ultimately contributing to the company's long-term success.

A day in the life…

Strategy

  • Sets the vet strategy and communicates the long-term vet channel vision, ambition & commercial deployment.

  • Develops Purina’s science-led brands, driving initiatives to expand the footprint of clinical diets through targeted action plans.

  • Manages the Trade and Marketing budgets to win key vet stakeholders' endorsement and spread awareness and equity on the scientific brands.

Key Opinion Leader

  • Leads the veterinary organization to strengthen endorsement, driving corporate and product awareness and increasing willingness to recommend.

  • Represents Purina internally and externally, ensuring presence in key scientific fora, Key Opinion Leader events, corporate activations and Nestle stakeholder events.

  • Supports the Purina sales team, Marketing team & Nestlé departments (Consumer Service) on pet care nutrition information and training.

People

  • Inspires and develops the veterinary team by setting clear goals, providing ongoing support to maximize performance and leveraging HR processes to drive development.

  • Defines the right organization to win in the marketplace (Vet sales team, Vet advisors, technical support). Sets the Operational Planning and monitors the achievement of defined goals, providing timely feedback and guidelines to the team and senior management.

 

What makes you successful

  • Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration.

  • A Degree in Veterinary/Health Science studies could be an additional plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or commercial role, preferably in the healthcare or scientific nutrition industry, proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing campaigns, driving business growth and managing P&L.

  • People’s manager experience could be considered as an advantage. 

Key Skills:

  • Fluency in Greek and English.

  • Can DO, Winning attitude!

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong communication skills, ability to represent the company in key forum.

  • Commercial awareness, strategic mindset and analytical thinking.

  • Willing to collaborate closely with all levels of internal & external stakeholders.

  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.

  • Deep understanding of nutritional claims.
