Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet high cleanliness and presentation standards.

• Actively participate in room cleaning, room setup, and turn-down service, especially during peak occupancy periods.

• Perform room inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken when standards are not met.

• Lead, motivate, and support the housekeeping team, providing guidance, on-the-job training, and daily direction.

• Organize daily task allocation, shift planning, and team coordination.

• Monitor linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies, ensuring proper use and availability.

• Report maintenance issues, operational needs, and lost & found items to Management and relevant departments.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

• Act as the main point of contact for the housekeeping department in daily operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in asupervisory or senior role within a hotel or hospitality environment.

• Strong hands-on approach with willingness to actively clean and prepare rooms.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.

• Ability to lead a team independently and take ownership of the department’s daily performance.

• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Good communication skills; basic knowledge of English is an asset.

• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
