We at Nova, are a very young and dynamic team, the 2nd largest telecom provider in Greece, looking for an experienced and highly motivated Debt & Banking Relations Specialist to join our Finance/ Treasury team.
You have a challenging mission to:
Overseeing and managing all banking relationships, monitoring and optimizing credit line utilization, service existing debt, and supporting strategic financing and project initiatives.
What will you do:
Serve as the key point of contact with banks, support finance team in strategic financing projects, monitor credit lines, while managing associated costs and overseeing the introduction of new banking products and services. Ensure the smooth operation of existing banking solutions.
Oversee the full lifecycle of new loan agreements, including reviewing term sheets, assessing financial covenants, and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
Administer existing financing structures, including intercompany bond loans, drawdowns, repayments, and the management of bond registers and certificates.
Undertake internal reporting of debt and financing structure, provide accrued interest calculations to accounting, reconcile with Group’s accruals and outstanding loan balances.
Ensure the availability of sufficient credit lines for issuing Letters of Guarantee (LGs) and manage and accommodate the complete issuance process. Develop new relationships with external financial institutions, such as insurance companies, to broaden financing options, if necessary.
Monitor and assess potential financial risks, including foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate exposures, and develop risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s financial position.
Assist the Treasury Director in implementing new projects and provide support for ongoing department initiatives.
Collaborate with the commercial and marketing teams to understand their business needs, working with banks to select and implement the most suitable banking solutions to support growth and operations.
Work closely with the IT department to ensure timely delivery of banking-related projects and provide comprehensive support for new requests and system enhancements.
It would be nice if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in large corporate environments or banking.
Extensive understanding of banking services, products, and end-to-end financing processes.
In depth understanding of financial statements.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and financial analysis.
