NTT Data Greece team is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Manager in Athens to work with our clients in the European public sector. As a Cloud Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of the cloud infrastructure. This role ensures that the cloud-based systems are stable, secure, and operating efficiently. The Cloud Infrastructure Manager will lead a team of IT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. 

Your Role: 

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. 
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers and IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. 
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect cloud infrastructure and data. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. 
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability. 
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud service providers and vendors, ensuring that services are delivered according to contractual agreements. 
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a system failure or data loss. 
• Budget Management: Create and manage budgets for cloud infrastructure projects, making recommendations for cost-saving measures. 
• Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and implement new strategies to improve infrastructure and security. 
• On duty responsibility services are required

Your profile:  

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on designing and managing cloud-based systems. 
• Proven experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. 
• Extensive experience in network security, virtualization, and data management. 
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and software-as-a-service (SaaS) models. 
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python) for Infrastructure as Code. 
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices, and containerization. 
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, encryption methods, and identity management. 
• Understanding of cloud networking concepts, virtual private clouds, and network security. 
• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and tools for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and collaboration. 
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of IT professionals. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 
• You are fluent in English (at least B2 Level). 
• EU citizenship is required.
