Starting with the role:

Currently, we are searching to hire a Tax Specialist to join our team. 

During your day you will:

• Prepare and submit transfer pricing list and coordinate the collection of supporting documentation for transfer pricing purposes, DAC 6 reporting

• Advise on tax issues on Group projects, provide support on everyday issues, advise regarding the issuance of the invoices, delivery notes etc

• Identify improvement areas within Tax Dpt and support the implementation of RPAs / AI driven solutions along with IT Dpt.

• Provide supporting documentation and analyse to internal and external auditors, coordinate tax certificates

• Evaluate documentation from suppliers for privileged and non-cooperative countries

• Catch up with the new legislation, promote and support the establishment of changes (systems or procedures related)

• Maintain legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws

• Be involved in other matters like VAT, my Data, income tax, withheld taxes, property taxes, tax registry, AADE and Icisnet module, GL entries relevant to tax department

• Support other members of tax department if needed

   

What you need to stand out:

• University Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline

• A Post Graduate Degree will be preferred

• At least 4 years of working experience as a tax specialist, tax consultant or other relevant role

• Good knowledge of Greek Tax legislation

• Proficient use in MS Office

• Knowledge of financial systems, preferably SAP

• Excellent use of the Greek and English language
