What you'll do
- Direct and coordinate all project stakeholders, consolidating technical requirements and defining project scope

About the job
Currently we are searching to hire a Head of Project Engineering to lead LPC’s entire refinery project portfolio, owning its delivery in accordance with the approved scope, schedule, budget and quality and act as the senior point of ownership across all project stakeholders, directing alignment of technical requirements, resources and priorities across the refinery.
During your day you will:
Direct and coordinate all project stakeholders across the refinery, consolidating technical requirements and defining projects’ scope to support budgeting and investment planning decisions
Own the monitoring of the project portfolio’s progress, cost, risks and deviations, driving timely escalation of issues and directing the implementation of corrective actions
Establish and oversee the project documentation control framework throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper governance, retention and handover of technical and contractual records
Identify, develop and implement synergies across the project portfolios of LPC and MOH refinery, driving alignment between senior stakeholders and functions
Lead project acceptance, commissioning and final handover activities across the portfolio, ensuring all contractual, technical and quality requirements are fulfilled prior to sign-off
Manage and develop the Project Engineering team, providing technical direction and guidance to ensure effective execution of project controls, reporting and coordination activities
Act as deputy to the Refinery Manager on project-related matters, representing LPC's refinery project portfolio in cross-functional and intra-Group forums with Motor Oil Procurement and MOH Refinery, and owning the resolution of cross-project conflicts and priorities
What you need to stand out:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
At least 7 years of experience in Project Engineering and/or Project Management, preferably in refinery, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments
A Master’s degree in Project Management, would be considered as an additional asset
Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
Solid understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial tracking
Good knowledge of EPC processes (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
Proficient use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent command of the Greek and English language (oral and written)
