What you'll do
- Support project teams in planning, organizing, technical engineering practice and executing projects
- Coordinate project activities and schedules ensuring adherence to timeframes, engineering practices and budgets
- Coordinate and monitor communication between project team and Contractual Authorities
- Collaborate with Procurement to meet project demands through RFPs
- Maintain and monitor project documentation, records and contracts related to progress and quality
- Support project teams in claims and protocols for variations/additional works with supporting documentation
- Identify potential project risks and collaborate to develop risk mitigation strategies
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Construction project management and project performance management

- Civil Engineering technical practice
- Public sector project legislation and infrastructure projects
- Claims and protocols for variations/additional works documentation and contract management
- MS Office and Autocad proficiency

Currently, we are searching to hire a Construction Project Engineer, to involve in Company projects’ management, including project coordination and supervision, time and budget monitoring, ensuring the project completion within the scope and quality standards

During your day you will:
Support the Project Teams in planning, organizing, technical engineering practice and executing projects
Coordinate project activities and relevant schedules, ensuring that projects objectives follow the time frame, good engineering practice and within budget
Coordinate and monitor communication between Helector’s Project team and the Contractual Authorities
Collaborate with the Procurement Function to meet project demands through RFPs
Maintain and monitor documentation, records and contracts related to the project, their relevant progress and quality
Support the project teams in claims and protocols for variations / additional works together with the supporting documentation
Identifies potential risks and issues that may impact the project, collaborating also with the project team to develop risk mitigation strategies
What you need to stand out:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Master’s degree in engineering or in a related field
5 years’ professional experience in construction project management role
3 years' experience in public construction sector, specializing in infrastructure, or building, and/or waste management projects
Solid understanding of the public sector projects legislation
Previous experience in environmental projects would be a plus
Experience in construction project management & project performance management
Proficiency in MS Office & Aautocad
Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and verbal
