Mondelēz Consumer Solutions Global MDS (IT) Team seeks a forward-thinking Consumer Data Platform Tech Lead to lead the creation and evolution of a Consumer Data Ecosystem solution. This role is central to our efforts in harnessing data to drive personalization, ensuring data privacy, and fostering integrations that amplify consumer experiences. The Tech Lead will play a critical role in working alongside CRM/ESP, Social, and Media Data Platform teams, driving both technology and business innovation within our Consumer Data Ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the technical development and architectural design of the CDP at the Global level, focusing on scalability, data integrity, and seamless integration capabilities

  • Engage with organizational stakeholders to gather requirements, pinpoint technical gaps, and engineer solutions that enhance data utility and consumer insights.

  • Lead the strategy for integrating diverse data sources and systems across the Consumer Data Ecosystem, ensuring robust, secure, and compliant data flows.

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to detail technical specifications, roadmaps, and quality standards, with an emphasis on achieving top-tier performance, security, and privacy benchmarks.

  • Direct interactions with Architecture, Application/Platform, and Technical Product teams to guide technology selections, favoring scalable and cost-effective solutions.

  • Uphold stringent adherence to Mondelēz's Infosec and Privacy standards through proactive engagement with relevant internal teams, applying privacy by design principles throughout the CDP lifecycle.

  • Innovate and contribute new ideas for product enhancement based on comprehensive market analysis, consumer behavior insights, and emerging industry trends.

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving through workshops and design thinking sessions with global and regional teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise in the consumer data domain, with in-depth knowledge of CDPs, Data Segmentation, Consumer Identity, and Data Privacy/Consent Management frameworks.

  • Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, with hands-on experience in architecting and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions for data processing, reporting, and analytics.

  • Advanced skills in data integration techniques, ETL processes, and familiarity with APIs and web services for connecting disparate data sources in a secure and efficient manner.

  • Extensive experience in leading technical teams and managing complex IT projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives

  • Robust background in marketing technologies and digital transformation initiatives, with a strong understanding of data-driven marketing strategies and analytics.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical visions and strategies to a diverse audience, fostering cross-functional collaboration and consensus.

  • Strategic and analytical thinker, adept at setting technical direction, prioritizing projects, and mobilizing teams to deliver innovative solutions.

  • Eager to embrace new technologies, methodologies, and industry developments, with a commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.

  • Familiarity with GCP's analytics and machine learning services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, AI Platform, and their application in enhancing consumer data insights and personalization efforts.
