What you'll do
- Conduct regular facility inspections, identify potential hazards, and assess safety measures
- Monitor the recording and analyze health and safety data to ensure information accuracy
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, identify deviations, and implement improvements
- Design and deliver training programs to strengthen staff safety awareness and knowledge
- Lead accident prevention by defining improvement actions and ensuring required procedures are implemented
- Approve and review hotel evacuation plans to keep them current and aligned with safety requirements
- Coordinate safety-related projects and initiatives according to company needs
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Safety & compliance: Ability to perform Safety Technician duties; Occupational Health and Safety Legislation; Compliance with Safety Regulations and Policies
- Risk management: Facility Inspections and Risk Assessment; Accident Prevention; Health and Safety Data Analysis
- Training & delivery: Safety Training; Project Management
- Technical knowledge: Urban Planning and Technical Legislation; Technical Installations; Electromechanical Systems
- Infrastructure systems: Fuel, Water Supply and Sewerage Networks; Water Treatment
- Tools & language: MS Office; English
- Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Civil Engineering
