About the job

We are currently looking for a Strategy & M&A Coordinator to join our Strategy & M&A team, based in Athens.

In this role, you will support the evaluation and execution of strategic initiatives, M&A transactions, partnerships and investments across the Group. You will gain exposure to high-profile projects, working closely with senior management, business leaders and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.

The successful candidate will contribute to transaction execution, due diligence, financial modelling, investment analysis and project coordination, while developing expertise in corporate finance, strategy and investment decision-making. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and motivated professional with strong financial acumen, commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.

 

 

Your role will encompass

  • Support the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, investments and other strategic initiatives.

  • Coordinate financial, legal, tax, technical, environmental and commercial due diligence activities, supporting the timely delivery of transaction workstreams.

  • Support transaction execution by coordinating internal stakeholders, counterparties and external advisors across multiple workstreams.

  • Assist in managing project plans, timelines, deliverables and information flows throughout transaction processes.

  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation assessments, market research and industry analysis to support investment evaluation and strategic decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain financial models, business cases and analytical materials to assess investment opportunities and transaction scenarios.

  • Review financial, commercial and operational information to identify key risks, opportunities and value drivers.

  • Support the preparation of investment memoranda, management presentations, reports and other decision-making materials for senior management and internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with Business Units, Central Functions and external advisors throughout strategic project and transaction delivery.

 

 

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or a related field, with a strong academic record.

  • 4+ years of experience in M&A, transaction advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting or a similar analytical and execution-focused role.

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of valuation methodologies, accounting and corporate finance principles.

  • Experience supporting transaction execution, due diligence processes and multi-stakeholder projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesise complex information and develop pragmatic recommendations.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, stakeholders and deliverables across complex projects and demanding timelines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Effective interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a strong interest in strategy, M&A and investment-related activities.
